MSNBC Commentator Rachel Maddow recently took to the airwaves accusing opponents of the ironically-named Employee Free Choice Act of having not read the bill. She then proceeded to demonstrate her ignorance of what the bill actually says. IFL Senior Vice President for Public Policy Kerri Toloczko and Senior Fellow in Labor and Employment Policy Loren Smith have written extensively on EFCA and its impact on America's small businesses, and IFL President Andrew Langer responded to Ms. Maddow via video:


BREAKING NEWS: IFL PARTICIPATES IN NEW AMERICAN TEA PARTY IN WASHINGTON, DC!

Coming on the heels of CNBC Commentator Rick Santelli's call for a nationwide series of "Tea Parties" in response to massive spending bills passed by Congress or proposed by the administration, IFL was invited to be a sponsor of the Washington, DC Tea Party, held on Friday, February 27th in Lafayette Park, across Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House. IFL President Andrew Langer was the 2nd speaker, and he also introduced Joe "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher. IFL Senior Fellow Peter Roff was also in attendance.
