Does anyone else find it peculiar how Western Mainstream Media suddenly “lost” all interest in South Ossetian conflict?

Can this be because Russia have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that any other civilized nation concerned about the safety of its citizens, and responsible for stability of its borders won’t do in its place?

Is this because Russian troops have withdrawn from Georgian territory on the set timetable defeating the rumours of Russian invasion and annexation of Georgia?

Is this because Pentagon realized it has absolutely no basis to bash Russian government policies and trying to draw parallels with Russian Soviet past is absurd even to a casual observer.

South Ossetia and Abkhazia are asserting their freedom and independence and bravely state that they will NOT be annexed by any other power, including Russia. I applaud these new small, and brave nations who truly only work for what is best for their, and not some other citizen’s interests.

It’s a shame that regular Georgian citizens are being pushed into conflict with Russians who they have long historical and cultural ties with – it is because of corrupt, prostitute Saakashvilli government that does things like distribute 100 Georgian Lari (about $70 dollars) to poor peasants to appear and stand for a day in the anti-Russian rallies sponsored and organized by Pentagon and CIA in Georgian capital Tbilisi to create an appearance that people actually support his regime.

There is little doubt that the intent is to, once again, re-write history – just like in 10 years - American school history textbooks will undoubtedly link 9/11 and Iraq war.

The promise of America was freedom and democracy – but the America, as it stands right now, brings anything but that to the other nations of the world.

For now - only Nicaragua, yet another victim of U.S. imperialism and aggression have officially recognized the nation of South Ossetia, but more will follow.

Otherwise in the place of dissolved Soviet “Evil Empire” Superpower – is rising what is being referred to by critics as the CRAZY EMPIRE of United States.
